The big hack

Nowadays our privacy can be weaponized against ourselves through hacking and digital hijacking. The installation shows the amount of data stolen during the hack done (probably) by North Korea to the Sony Pictures due to their film “The Interview”, which plot revolves around killing Kim Jong-un.

Metaphor used:

The metaphor is about the bound between each type of different data stolen and their corrispective in the everyday life.

Intended Meaning:

The amount of physical data gives the idea of how many informations where stolen and all of them are kept in the main objects which each One of them describes what kind of data was stolen in that period. (wallet for personal physical data, DVD covers for the spoilers of outcome movies)
