In the 1960s, only 20 percent of the Chinese population was short-sighted. But myopia rates have shot up in the last two decades. I would like to show the serious problem of myopia epidemic with a video. Raising the people’s awareness to protect their eyesight, especially among young generation.

Metaphor used:

Using clear pictures to represent good eyesight and mosaic pictures to represent bad eyesight. The blurrier the picture is, the higher the myopia rate is and the more popular the epidemic is.

Intended Meaning:

To see the serious problem of myopia epidemic behind the data and video. Raising the awareness to protect their eyesight, especially young generations.
