In Italy, an average of 2.8 people dies at work each day. The sectors of construction and agriculture are the hardest hit, Lombardy and Campania the Italian regions with the highest number of deaths. The official source of data is Inail which, every six months, collects the information related to each type of accident in the workplace. For the purposes of visualization, only fatal accidents at the workplace were selected (non-commuting accidents)
