Made with cement, “Cloud Matter” is an interactive physical data visualization project. It allows you to feel how heavy the impact of data cloud originated pollution is.

Metaphor used:

Relate data transferred to physical weight. Weight in mega or gigabytes are converted into weight in emmited CO2 to transfer the referred ammount of data.

Intended Meaning:

Show that what is seemingly insivible, immaterial and seamless (the data cloud) actually has heavy pollution consequences in the physical world.
